Due to record levels of interest in our instruments, we seek to appoint an energetic production engineer, who will report to the Production Manager. This role offers the applicant the opportunity to work in the highest levels of scientific research on a global level.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assembling and testing of new instruments
- Installing and commissioning new instruments at customer’s sites worldwide
- Training of customers on the use of the instrument
- Service and applications support visits
- Contributing to the on-going instrument development
This position will be based in Wrexham, North Wales and will include a considerable degree of international travel, (up to 90 Days per year).
The successful candidate will possess a degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent, and should be practical, flexible and self-motivated. Engineering experience would be desirable but not essential.
A desire to travel, and to experience and adapt to diverse working environments are essential.
